5 Hours Before 2019
Last year, almost the end of December 2017 I started writing my goals for 2018. As usual, doing some sports was top on the list! Since I knew I would not be able to achieve this goal, I tried to add some more point to my resolutions, which at the end of the year, I feel good to see actually I have done something….
I set a goal to watch a TED TALK every night before going to bed, for like 15 to 20 minutes. Sounds doable right? Specially if you are an auditory learner (learn better by listening) helps a lot, because actually you could remember and learn different topics from it.
In the end, I could not keep it as a regular habit, however, I did my best and watched two videos in a week.
I decided to share my top 20 videos which I liked the most.
- The history of human emotions
- What makes something go viral?
- How to save the world (or at least yourself) from bad meetings?
- How can groups make good decisions?
- Want to be more creative? go for a walk
- Why gender equality is good for everyone-men included
- How to fix a broken heart?
- See how the rest of the world lives, organized by income
- How the button changed fashion?
- Why you don’t like the sound of your own voice?
- How to build and re-build trust?
- How great leaders inspire action?
- A lesson from looking
- What we don’t teach our kids about sex
- You are fluent in this language ( and don’t even know it )
- What’s like to be a transgender dad?
- How fashion help us to express who we are and what we stand for?
- Living beyond limits
- Where joy hides and how to find it?
- I’m not your inspiration, thank you very much
There is still some time left until the next year… It may help you to add it to your todo-list of 2018. It takes only around 4 or 5 hours to watch, mark it as ✅ to feel 😌.
